OUR STORY

A SPORTS SECTION FOR KIDS

FOUND US? SAY HI.

This is bespoke software, built for the handful of families who decide it's useful for their kids. If that's you, tell us what you'd want — a sport, a feature, a fix. The odds we actually build it are pretty good. Leave your email if you'd like a reply.

This started with my nephew. He loved baseball — but loving a sport and really knowing it are two different things. He needed to learn the game well enough to play it himself, and he needed to learn the other half too: how to be a fan. How to pick a team, follow it through the season, and stick with it on the bad days.

THE PAPER WE DON'T GET ANYMORE

Kids don't have a sports section to pick up anymore. The newspaper used to land on the porch, and you'd read the box scores over breakfast. That little daily habit is gone. So we made a new one — a sports paper written for kids, ready every morning.

PRINTERS ARE BACK

This is made to print. Print the daily paper and read it over cereal or in the car. Print the bingo cards, watch the game together as a family, and fill them in with a pen. It's playing on paper — not tapping glass.

THE WHOLE POINT IS OFF THE SCREEN

We didn't build another app to stare at. The screen is just where you make the card. The good part happens at the table, on the couch, in the car — paper in hand, eyes on the game.

TUNED TO YOUR KID

It covers more than one sport — baseball, World Cup soccer, and more on the way. And it meets each kid where they are: we dial the reading level and how much you're expected to already know up or down, so a first-timer and a super-fan both get a paper that fits.

WHY WE MADE IT

Because the best way to fall for a sport is to follow it a little every day, and the best way to follow it is together. That's the whole idea — one kid, one paper, one game at a time.
